About our Accommodation

ABOUT OUR TRAIN CARRIAGES

The Nambucca Valley Train Carriages have been built new, from the ground up in 2019.

The train carriage offers a unique B&B style experience in self contained private holiday accommodation.

We have replicated the carriage used on the Wisebech and Upwell Tramway, which was built by GER (Great Eastern Railways), Stratford England in 1888.

The carriage sleeps two people in a Queen Bed, with an ensuite bathroom, kitchen and balcony.

Your included continental breakfast of cereal, toast, jam, honey, juice, tea and coffee is ready for you to enjoy at the dining table or on the balcony.

You are welcome to bring food to cook on the electric cooktop & microwave in the kitchen or on the electric BBQ on the balcony, if you wish to stay in and cook something for yourself for dinner or breakfast.

The carriage is located 200 metres from the North Coast Railway line which can be seen from the balcony and windows.

Other than passing trains, the property is private and peaceful, you can see the wallabies grazing near the carriage most mornings.

We have bitumen road access to our 300 metre maintained gravel driveway and there is plenty of room to park a trailer or boat.

Your hosts, David and Diane, ensure your stay is comfortable and are always happy to offer advice on local attractions, restaurants, and activities to make your holiday in the Nambucca Valley one to remember.
